Testicular cancer survivor ready to ‘Swim in Pink’

Enda Battle of Midlands Blueballs has accepted the challenge to Swim in Pink at 11am on Sunday, October 13 in the name of cancer awareness and is urging men to check themselves regularly.

The father of three from Mullingar joined the Lough Owel men-only group to build up to the Christmas Day swim, feeling it would be easier to keep going if he had company. Swimming every Wednesday since the very first meeting in July, Enda recently confided in the group that he had been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
