Vicky Carr was the hero as her two-goal salvo in the final ten minutes helped St Loman’s to overcome reigning champions, Milltown, in this Westmeath Ladies Senior Football Championship final played in a windy TEG Cusack Park on Saturday evening last.
In a contest which was billed as the clash of the titans, both sides left their heart and soul on the field as the prize of taking the county title was fought right to the whistle in front of a healthy crowd.
