A Mullingar Charity Shop which is helping to feed over 450 impoverished families in the midlands town this Christmas has been violently burgled.
An undisclosed sum of money which was destined to be used to feed and house the needy, as well as some smaller items, were stolen in an early morning morning burglary on Brian’s Treasure Chest, Castle Street on Friday.
