Cullion’s long wait for minor hurling silverware finally ended last Saturday afternoon in Clonkill. Cullion, who hadn’t won a minor hurling title for almost 40 years, finally clinched the Minor Division 2 Hurling title when they won this 13-a-side final by a solitary point after extra time, following a thrilling contest against St Oliver Plunkett’s of Mullingar.
