The National Clinical Lead for Paediatric Diabetes, Prof. Michael O’Grady, said he was “delighted to announce the planned return to the service” of Regional Hospital Mullingar’s “incredible” Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Paediatric Diabetes, meaning a full return to services for the clinic. Services commenced on Monday, 22 April, it was a “positive day,” said Prof. O’Grady in a letter sent to parents of the 145 patients on Thursday, 18 April.
The Mullingar, Parents of Diabetic Children group gave their “sincere” thanks to those who assisted them in their campaign to resume full services of the Paediatric Diabetes Clinic.
