Uachtarán Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, Liam O’Neill, launched The Downs GAA Strategic Plan (2014-2018) on Saturday night last, 7 June, to a large attendance at our Club Night.
The Uachtarán, while covering the areas of the Strategic Plan in his speech, also covered underage coaching, the community and the GAA’s initiatives in mental health. Also present for the launch were Ken Eades, Vice-Chairperson, Westmeath GAA County Board, and Geraldine Giles, Chairperson, Cumann Peil na mBan, Iarmhi and Leinster Development Officer.
