Tommy Owens, his son Johnny, Sean Gerrity, Martin Fox, Paul Rogan and Paul Taaffe set off from Killybegs Harbour at exactly 17:34 on a month long journey that will see them travel from Ireland to Iceland as friends, family and loved ones wave them off.
Stopping in Gilleran’s pub for a hearty breakfast, the next stop for the crew was Port Ellen, Islay, South Hebrides islands off the coast of Scotland.
