Jason Keelan: Four sides, four scenes, forgone conclusion?

Sixty-six goals, 710 points (908 points altogether) is the total scored across the Shay Murtagh senior football championship to date. Roughly speaking, it’s about an average of 2-21 per game split whatever way between the teams. It has certainly not been jaw-dropping in terms of scoring by any means.

And, for some, the argument that football is dying a death across the country is only verified by the drop in general score-taking and the cementing of defensive systems across the board.
