Despite topping the viewer poll with a whooping 44%, Mull-ingar’s Michaela Hogg lost out to Limerick’s singing doctor, Emmet Daly’s “charismatic” version of Sam Smith’s ‘Omen’ on Sunday’s Live Knockout shows.
After first watching The Voice at 13, Michaela waited five years to take part in the singing contest.
For her performance, Michaela sang a sassy version of the original ‘Tainted Love’ by Gloria Jones, recorded in 1964, which suited the retro singer down to the ground.
