Two Gardaí in Mullingar had a miracle escape from serious injury early on Tuesday morning of this week, 10 June, when their Garda car was twice rammed by a stolen car, within the space of a few minutes.
The drama began at 3.30am, as a Garda car was on patrol in the Dublin Road area of Mullingar. It is understood they received a call that a car had been stolen from Burnell Drive, and they reacted swiftly to the alert, and when the stolen car sped past, they gave chase.
