On Friday April 19, Naíonáin Bheaga and Naíonáin Mhóra classes from Gaelscoil an Mhuilinn, Ashe Road lit up the Mullingar Arts Centre stage in the national finals of the Féile Scoildrámaíochta with their musical drama “An Fear Sinséir.” (The Gingerbread Man)
The play was written by Múinteoir Esther last September and the children of junior infants and senior infants have been preparing since January under the guidance of Múinteoir Valerie, Múinteoir Fiona and Múinteoir Síle. With over 40 children on stage, new principal Bríd de Bhial was “dead proud of each and every one of them.”
