Music feast fit for Royalty at annual Castlepalooza

Once again this year, a suite of music and colour is set to take over the majestic settings of Charleville Castle, Tullamore when Castlepalooza 2017 gets under way.
Taking place from 4 to 6 August, Castlepalooza Music & Arts festival offers a unique opportunity to set foot inside a beautiful medieval castle, walk through its restored rooms and unwind in front of the roaring fires.
Ticket holders have exclusive daily access inside the castle where there are art and film exhibitions; workshops and some surprise performances. Visitors have access to The Courtyard throughout the weekend.
This year’s line-up is the festival’s best yet, with a host of musical talent from home and abroad set to arrive at Charleville Castle for three days of summer fun.
Bringing their music talent to Tullamore will be Wild Beasts, Waze & Odyssey, David Kitt, I Have A Tribe, Heroes in Hiding and Lumo Club.

DAVID KITT
David Kitt is an Irish musician/producer that crosses multiple genres. He has released seven studio albums to date, from his quietly magnetic 2001 debut Small Moments, through the expansive ambient textures and looping pop mantras of The Big Romance, through Square One, covers album The Black & Red Notebook, Not Fade Away, The Nightsaver and his most recent release, Yous.
WILD BEASTS
Wild Beasts are an indie rock band from the United Kingdom. They released their first single, “Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants”, on Bad Sneakers Records in November 2006, and subsequently signed to Domino Records. They have released five acclaimed albums, Limbo, Panto in 2008, Two Dancers in 2009, Smother in 2011, Present Tense in 2014 and Boy King in 2016. Two Dancers was nominated for the Mercury Prize.
