Danny Owens is the new Westmeath minor hurling manager.
The former Offaly star was ratified at a meeting of the Westmeath Coiste na nÓg on Wednesday evening in Cusack Park. His backroom team consists of Southern Gaels club man, Enda Dowd (team trainer), Turin’s James McGrath and St Brigid’s stalwart Jay Faulkner (selectors). The team Coordinator is James Flynn of Ringtown.
