Around 150 people gathered at Mullingar Park Hotel last week to hear Meath TD Peadar Tóibín talk about his new and, as of yet, unnamed republican grouping, both south and north, which he said will put forward candidates in next May’s local government elections and would campaign on many issues other than abortion.
