It has been confirmed that ‘The People’s Debate with Vincent Browne’ will visit Mullingar next Monday, 1 February. The debate was due in town some weeks ago but had to be rescheduled.
The debate will be broadcast on the ‘Tonight With Vincent Browne’ show on Wednesday, 3 February and it’s expected that issues like the closing of the Army Barracks in Mullingar, unemployment in the region, the struggle for local retailers and how Mullingar can recover from the recession will dominate next Monday’s debate.
