The Mullingar Community Policing Unit held an open day at Mullingar Garda Station last Saturday, 29 June. The event was well attended by local families who were provided with entertainment for the day-long event.
The open day aimed to create more engagement between members of An Garda Síochána and the general public, including new arrivals to the town over the last number of years.
