The passing of of Jadotville veteran, William (Billy) Keane, has been describefd as a “sad day for Mullingar and the army family.”
William (Billy) Keane passed away on Sunday, 22 September, aged in his early eighties. As well as being a veteran of the 1961 Siege at Jadotville in The Congo, he was a proud member of the Mullingar branch of National Ex-Servicemen and Women (ONE).
