Sadness at passing of former Coláiste Mhuire teacher, Chris Keaney

A deep sense of sadness swept through Mullingar last Monday, 16 September, when the sudden (but peaceful) passing of Chris Keaney was learned.

A native of Corrandulla in County Galway, Chris (70) was known throughout Mullingar and beyond as a languages teacher at Coláiste Mhuire, where he taught thousands of young men during his 37 years at the secondary school.
