Actors, directors, crew members and film enthusiasts can take part in Kino, a 48-hour filmmaking challenge in Columbia Bar, Mullingar from 18 to 20 September.
Kino is a weekend long filmmaking challenge which originated in Montreal, Canada in 1999. It challenges aspiring filmmakers to turn ideas into films and network with other budding Kubricks. The event is open to beginners and experts and will feature a workshop on Wednesday, 18 September where participants can pitch their ideas. Participants can then shoot their films on Thursday, 19 September with films to be screened on Friday, 20 September
