The 58th Rose of Tralee International Final takes place next Monday and Tuesday nights, 21 and 22 August, and Westmeath has, in effect, two strong contenders among the 65 Rose finalists.
Eva Cooney (23), from Glasson, “the Village of the Roses”, is the official Westmeath representative in the finals on Monday and Tuesday nights next, while Anne Lynam (24) will represent Meath.
