Cllr Tom Farrell has said that Westmeath needs to “preempt rather than react” to climate crises that will be experienced in the county in the coming years.
“We’ve seen what happened in Cork… These things are going to happen and we have to be prepared for them,” he said at an Environmental SPC on Thursday, 19 October.
