When Westmeath footballers won the Allianz League Division 3 Cup in Croke Park last Saturday evening, it was the second trophy the footballers had won this year, and the fourth trophy Westmeath GAA had won this year, after the senior hurlers had won two trophies also in the opening four months of 2019.
