Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar was chosen by the HSE as a ‘targeted intervention site’ during the same week which revealed mixed waiting list results for the hospital.
The HSE chose the Mullingar hospital on Sunday, 7 July, along with Letterkenny University Hospital and Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel, as a target to implement a series of reforms recommended by HSE National Doctors Training and Planning (NDTP).
