Gardaí in Mullingar are investigating a number of burglaries that occurred last week. On Thursday, 11 July a burglary occurred at a house in Killucan. It is understood property to the value of €1,000 was stolen.
On Saturday, 13 July a burglary occurred at a house on the Athlone Road, Mullingar. The burglary happened between 6.30pm and 7.30pm and it is believed that items valued at €350 were stolen.
On Saturday 13 July a burglary occurred at a house in Castlepollard between 5pm and 6pm. It is believed that nothing of any great value was stolen from the house.
On Monday of this week, 15 July, between 2am and 3am a house at The Downs, Mullingar was broken into and tools valued at €5,000 were reported stolen.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the areas mentioned above at the various days and times to come forward.
