The Westmeath County Fleadh took place over the weekend of Friday 10 May to Sunday 12 May. Competitions took place in various venues including Milltown GAA Club, St Brigid’s National School, the Teach Cheoil, Cara Phort and the Church of the Nativity.
The programme of events kicked off at 2pm on Friday, 10 May at Milltown hall with the dancing competitions. Westmeath Comhaltas musicians opened the weekend’s entertainment with a performance on the gig rig on Friday evening.
