A member of a Westmeath residential association criticised Westmeath County Council for an apparent lack of response to tree damage in Ballynacargy from Storm Éowyn.
Maggie Murtagh, of the Carraig Mor Residents Association in Ballynacargy told Topic about the “devastation” Storm Éowyn caused in her local area as it ripped its way through Ireland on Friday, 24 January, and the lack of response she has had from the council to clear up the damage nearly a month later.
