Latest Central Statistic Office (CSO) crime figures have revealed a 73.6% increase in burglaries reported to Mullingar Garda Station in 2024 compared to 2023.
Released on Wednesday, 26 March, the data shows that there were 92 instances of burglary and related offences in 2024, the most in a year since 2019. The statistics average to around one burglary case in every four days in Mullingar during 2024.
