Kinnegad Juniors recorded a hard-earned 1-0 victory at home to Moate last Sunday morning.
It was a first half to forget as both sides seemed to struggle to get the upper hand. Kinnegad had the majority of the ball but their play was lacking any intensity. A sluggish performance throughout the half still saw the home team almost score from numerous set pieces and forwards Ciaran Bracken and Gary Caffrey both had (what appeared to be good) goals disallowed by the referee.
