Castleblaney couple Pierce and Kelly McKeown were making their second appearance at the bi-weekly Clonmellon Farmers Market last Sunday. Although the sunshine brought out the crowds it was anything but a warm day but nevertheless the presence of the market still brought much needed activity to the village.
A steady stream of shoppers made their way to the square and they were not disappointed with plenty on view to take their fancy, including the Gluten Free Bakery stall run by Pierce and Kelly McKeown from Castleblaney. Their impressive spread included handmade produce from their own purpose built bakery. “We decided to convert our garage and have been selling out produce at a number of other similar markets around the country and feel quite at home here!” said Kelly.
