The President of the Mullingar Chamber of Commerce hailed a successful holding of The Mullingar Chamber Awards and congratulated the 15 winners of the local business awards.
Held at Mullingar Park Hotel on Friday, 1 November, The Mullingar Chamber of Commerce aimed to celebrate “the excellence and innovation” and “highlight the outstanding contributions of businesses and individuals in various categories.”
Speaking to Topic, the Chamber’s President, James Bourke, said: “It was a really good night. We were delighted to see such a crowd out to celebrate the various success stories that we have and have had in 2024 in Mullingar.
“It was lovely to see a mix of some well-established businesses there and also some new businesses from the town that have only started in the last few years.”
He continued: “It is great to see the different type of businesses and different industries as well, all the particular industries that the Mullingar Chamber of Commerce caters for.
“We were very lucky to have 15 very strongly contested categories. There were a lot of really good contenders in every category and we are very lucky to have such a good calibre of businesses in our town.
“Of course, we can only have one winner in each category so well done to all those winners.”
