With seven minutes left on the clock and up by as many scores, Delvin were strolling to a very comfortable victory over Crookedwood in this final round game of the Senior B Championship in Rochfortbridge GAA grounds last Sunday afternoon.
By the end, both sides were on their knees for different reasons as the Delvin men hung on by their fingernails to take victory by the minimum and with it a place in the County final, as Crookedwood missed out on a possible semi-final spot by smallest of margins in the end.
