Demands for “leadership” and “letting people use their common sense” made by local businesses are putting Westmeath TDs and Government ministers under increasing pressure as resentment to Covid-19 restrictions mounts.
This week owners of local coach firms, travel companies, vintners and hospitality operators have called on the Government to ease the rules or face up to huge job losses in the coming weeks and months.
