Goals win games and so it proved as Coláiste Mhuire’s dreams of winning the All-Ireland Colleges senior football title came to an abrupt end when they were defeated by St Colman’s Claremorris from Mayo by six points in this Hogan Cup semi-final played in Pádraig Pearses GAA grounds in Ballinasloe, last Saturday afternoon.
