Con Gilsenan – ‘A man of kindness and goodness’

Mullingar town centre briefly grounded to a standstill on Monday afternoon, as the public lined Mary and Dominick Streets to bid farewell to one of Westmeath’s most recognisable citizens, the late Con Gilsenan. He was 71.

Late of Multyfarnham, the former publican and funeral director passed away peacefully last Wednesday, 20 November 2024, surrounded by his family, following a long illness.
