Controversial defeat for Westmeath Schools hurling team, but Coláiste Mhuire advance

Last Sunday afternoon in Crumlin, Dublin a very strong Westmeath Schools team exited the Leinster Colleges Senior A Hurling Championship when they lost to Dublin South Schools in the group teams final played in Lorcan O’Toole Park, Crumlin GAA grounds.

There is certainly no disgrace in losing to a very strong Dublin South Schools side, the home team winning by six points in the end, 3-17 to 1-17.
