Mullingar’s Gemma proud to represent Ireland at World Pool Championships

“It was a great experience, I was so proud to play for Ireland and I loved every minute of it,” said Mullingar’s Gemma Masterson when she reflected on playing for Ireland in the World Pool Championships in Blackpool recently.

Gemma Masterson has been playing pool for a long time but only began playing it competitively three years ago. Her undoubted talent and skill shone through and it wasn’t long before she progressed up through the ranks. Masterson was then selected for the Irish team and went on to represent her country at the World Championships – a great experience for the Mullingar lady.
