A Mullingar woman is calling for changes to the Government’s hair replacement ‘wig’ scheme, urging them to: ‘pay the patient, not the provider.’
Dympna Little has created an online petition following the experiences of her late mother Lily Little, who recently lost her battle with peritoneal cancer, aged 69. Dympna is calling on the government to pay the hair replacement benefit of up to €500 directly to the recipient instead of the provider. Her petition has gone viral, attracting supporters by their thousands.
