Westmeath Schools hurling team produced an inspirational and passionate display of hurling as they overcame Offaly Schools by six points in this Leinster Colleges Senior Hurling Group Team semi-final played at Clonkill Hurling grounds last Friday evening.
If there was two words to sum up the Westmeath display in this game it was work rate, and Westmeath produced the greater hunger, desire and work rate on a wet and damp night in Clonkill to overcome their rivals Offaly and clinch a place in the final of this Group Team section.
