Mullingar’s Aidan Keena will be hoping to help St Patrick’s Athletic to reach the group stages of the UEFA Conference League when the Dublin club take on Istanbul Basaksehir. Keena, who recently joined the League of Ireland side from English League Two side Cheltenham Town, will be hoping to find the net as St Patrick’s Athletic take on the Turkish side over two legs in their Conference League qualifier this week and next week.
St Patrick’s Athletic, managed by former Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny, will take on the Turkish side at home this Thursday evening, in Tallaght Stadium, Dublin, before heading off next week to Turkey for the second leg.
