The sun shone down on the diving board at Portnashangan for Mullingar’s first ever Swim In Pink last Sunday, 13 October.
Crowds gathered to cheer on the brave souls who entered the cold lake at 11am. The local ladies’ group Dips Don’t Lie had challenged their male counterparts Midlands Blueballs to join them in raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research, and the lads rose to the challenge in style.
