Local councillor Denis Leonard has written to Westmeath County Council (WCC) and the National Transport Authority (NTA) responding to the pre-feasibility study on the transport needs of Killucan, Kinnegad and Hill of Down.
The letter follows recent a meeting on the subject attended by the WCC Chief Executive Barry Keogh, Cllr Denis Leonard, Cllr David Jones and representatives from Irish Rail and the NTA.
