Castlelost Church and Cemetery just outside Rochfortbridge traces its origins back to the early 1200s with the arrival of Richard Tyrrell to the Barony of Fartullagh.
On Saturday last, 2 November 2024, Fr Liam Carey, assisted by Fr William Coleman marked All Saints Day with Mass and a blessing of the graves, with local families in attendance.
Some of the first families to settle in the area going back to the 800s have members buried in Castlelost Cemetry.
