Killian Mooney was the Mullingar Shamrocks hero as his last minute goal stole the Minor Football League Division 1 title away from rivals St Loman’s right at the death in this thrilling final played in Lakepoint Park on Thursday evening last, 26 June.
This local derby had a little bit of everything and it enthralled the large attendance as the two Mullingar teams went head-to-head in what turned out to be the proverbial game of two halves.
