A record-breaking €56,000 was raised this past Mullingar Daffodil Day according to Marie O’Toole, a member of the organising committee who told Topic that everyone involved was delighted with how it went.
The exact figure relating to how much was raised is unknown at the moment but will be revealed when the cheque is presented to Irish Cancer Society on 29 May of this year.
