Garreth Rynne, a service user with Down Syndrome who attends the Muiríosa Foundation, invited Topic to a coffee morning in aid of Focus Ireland which raised €660 last Thursday.
The fundraiser ran from between 11.00-1.00pm at the visitor centre on Austin Friars Street and was supported by Squires, who donated a €50 voucher, O’Haras Bakery, Waterlily Florist, and The Western Gem, all of whom donated wine, food, drinks and in the case of Daly’s Bar, a voucher for a haircut, to the raffle which took place on the day.
