Westmeath children’s author and illustrator, Dolores Keaveney, praised the running of Ireland Reads Day, and the talent of the children who attended her visits to Castlepollard and Mullingar libraries.
The author, who is in the process of having her twenty-second book published to locations as far afield as Australia visited the two libraries which had plenty of children and parents awaiting her, on Saturday, 22 February.
