A Mullingar member of Down Syndrome Ireland’s National Advisory Council (NAC), Fintan Bray, met with Tánaiste, Simon Harris, ahead of World Down Syndrome Day on Friday, 21 March.
Fintan, alongside other members of Down Syndrome Ireland’s NAC and Down Syndrome International’s Irish ambassador, Eileen Dunne, met with Simon Harris on Wednesday, 19 March, discussing their experiences of employment, independence and their advocacy work. Improvements that were needed in society for people with disabilities was also discussed.
