Mullingar Hiking Group’s Ken Delaney described the group’s recent expedition to Everest Base Camp as “epic.”
Along with 36 people taking on the 14-day trek to Everest Base Camp, 18 of the trekkers also attempted to climb Imja Tse which is better known as Island Peak. At 6,165 metres high, Island Peak which is the highest mountain worldwide that a Mullingar Hiking Group party has summited.
