Local mother Caoimhe Duncan of Wattstown, Mullingar reached out to Topic last week to express her frustration at the frequent littering of glass bottles in her area, saying that she and neighbours were “sick and tired of this person using our quiet road as a dumping ground.”
The woman claims that she has collected hundreds of bottles on walks with her young family and on one occasion pulled 93 bottles “from along the ditch” with her three-year-old son, Henry.
