What do Christina Aguilera, Rory McIlroy and Garron Noone have in common? They have all eaten food cooked by the same Mullingar man.
Richard Anthony is a chef, father and, most recently, entrepreneur. He grew up in Ginnell Terrace and attended St Colman’s NS and Coláiste Mhuire where he had no idea what he wanted to do after he left. After a stint on the building sites, bars and fast food outlets in London, he returned home to Mullingar and took a job as a kitchen porter in Don Antonio’s, a restaurant on Dominick Street at the time. One day, he was put on starters and the rest is history.
